Ria developed her interest in music by taking piano and vocal lessons when she was 8 years old. As she stepped into Pelita Harapan University, she chose to concentrate her studies in Music Education and majoring in Classical Piano under the expert guidance of Mrs. Amelia Santoso. In addition to her Bachelor Degree, Ria has completed Yamaha Grade 6 Piano Exam & LCM Grade 8 Piano Exam with Distinction.

Ria's relentless pursuit of learning is evident as she actively participates in webinars, workshops, and courses to continuously improve herself and refine her teaching techniques. For instance, she has recently taken short Dalcroze courses under the tutelage of Jerison Harper Lee. She seizes every opportunity for growth, recognizing that the world of music is ever-evolving and demands unwavering dedication. Her commitment to acquiring new skills and insights not only enhances her abilities as both a performer and educator but also serves as a profound source of inspiration for her students.
